About us

The Division of horticulture was first established in the Faculty of Agriculture in 1964. In 2006 it
became one the five divisions of the Department of Plant Science and Agricultural Resources.
The division provides education, research and community service on horticulture breeding,
horticulture physiology and biotechnology in vegetables, ornamentals and flowers. The division also carries out research on a wide range of topics relating to tropical and subtropical horticultural crops.
